That sounds awful, poor you!
Can you somehow get back in touch with the surgical team that referred you for the MRI and tell them that the wrong area was scanned? Ask through Meddoc for the contact maybe? Or ask your GP for a phone consultation (they should manage this sooner than a normal appointment) and explain the lack of communication and your concerns?
